National Protocol Consultation Schedule of Meetings

The Canadian Judicial Council has now established a schedule for the second round of in-person consultations on draft Practice Directions for Alberta, Ontario and Nova Scotia. The Practice Directions provide detailed standards for the exchange and presentation of documentary evidence in electronic form.  British Columbia has already issued a Practice Direction that came into effect July 2006.  See http://www.courts.gov.bc.ca/sc/ElectronicEvidenceProject/ElectronicEvidenceProject.asp

The sessions are presented by Sandra Potter of Potter Farrelly, the consultant retained by the Council. This is an important opportunity to present your views on the drafts. To obtain copies of the latest draft documents, visit http://150.101.156.34/pdcanada/
